Are you watching the Middle East?

Watching the Middle East and seeing Bible prophecy being fulfilled is an eye opening adventure.

Thoughts En Route

Just a quick hit today.

Are you watching the Middle East? With ISIS filling the news, it almost seems a stupid question, but not really. If anything, the more something fills our screens, the more we can begin to tune it out.

But have no doubts: Eventually the entire world will be focused on that area of the world. And not that ISIS is a small thing–hardly so–but there is so much more going on over there than that. For biblical prophecy to be fulfilled in the Middle East a great deal of change and reorganizing is required, and that is exactly what we see happening.

For instance, here’s part of a dispatch from the Middle East channel of Foreign Policy Magazine that I received today. Really grabbed my attention:

The Eternal is There

One evening, when I was single and feeling sorry for myself, all of a sudden my mind shifted to The Eternal God. I thought to myself, why am I feeling sorry for myself when I have the Creator of all things to talk to any time I wish. This inspired me to write this most loving poem to my God, my Savior and I hope and pray it will inspire anyone that finds themselves in the same situation of loneliness.

~ The Eternal Is There ~

In darkest day or darkest night,

The Eternal is there.

When I have experienced loss of a loved one and been in despair,

The Eternal is there.

When I feel sick, tired and lonely,

The Eternal is there.

When I needed forgiveness and man wouldn’t,

The Eternal is there.

When I needed encouragement, love and someone who cares,

The Eternal is there.

When I have fallen and need someone to lean on to bring me back,

The Eternal is there.

When I wanted knowledge, understanding and wisdom to learn the right way to live,

The Eternal is there.

After the Sun, Moon, Earth and Universe have passed away,

The Eternal will be there.

For He is the Eternal God, The One we call Father, The One who loves the innocent and His creation. The one who gave us the Promise of His Son, Jesus The Christ and The One who will share His Name and His Kingdom forever with His Children. The One who is called the Eternal, He will always be there.
